Practices are required to allocate a named, accountable GP to all patients including children.
Individual patients will be informed of their named accountable GP at the first appropriate interaction with the practice. If you wish to be told the name of your named accountable GP, please ask the reception. For convenience your named accountable GP will be the doctor you are registered with.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request of expressed preference to see a particular GP. Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor. Your named GP will not be available all the times.
